  6.     Have you ever wondered what
  7. "oom-pah-pah" REALLY sounds like? Or
  8. how about "swisshh"?? Or how about
  9. your own name?

  11.     Now you don't have to wonder any
  12. longer! With this handy little program
  13. you can find out exactly how anything
  14. sounds! If you can type it, the C-64
  15. can "say it". (Don't expect a voice
  16. synthesizer!!)

  18.     Actually, this program produces
  19. more of a 'code' for each letter typed
  20. in.

  27.  [DAVE'S AFTERSHAVE:] When I preview
  28. this novelty program from LOADSTAR 007
  29. I thought, "That's nice." But on a
  30. hunch, I took a gander at the code.
  31. WOW! Jim has 26 unique sound effects
  32. just itching to be used in any game.

  34.  Each routine is short, so you can
  35. list one on the screen then load your
  36. own program. Be sure to renumber the
  37. routine so line numbers don't
  38. conflict. Then enter each line.

  40.  I have Visual Basic for Windows,
  41. which requires more memory than all
  42. the C-64's and 128's I own. But here
  43. in one little computer is this clever
  44. little screen editor that allows so
  45. much control for the programmer.
